- Spearhead ferments and distills grains producing 94% alcohol. This alcohol is sold for fuel (bio-ethanol), and consumption (vodka production), as well as for other food, pharmaceutical and industrial applications.
- New Biofuel projects currently under consideration include:
- Increased bio-ethanol production capacity.
- Bio-gas production from livestock manure.
- Bio-diesel production from oil seed rape.
- Bio-mass fuel pellets from straw and willow.
