Board Appointments
I am pleased to announce the following two appointments, effective from 1st September 2008.
Oskar Zahn is appointed Finance Director of Spearhead International Ltd. Oskar qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in South Africa before moving as Audit Manager to Belgium. His subsequent career, since 1995, has involved a series of increasingly senior financial positions with Georgia Pacific Corp, British Airways PLC, and latterly as VP Finance of the medical division of Teleflex Inc. These jobs have involved large scale company reorganisation in a highly multinational context, much of it in Europe.
Clive Wilson will take the position of Corporate Development Director with responsibility for project managing the process of acquisition and post merger internal restructuring. Clive has been Finance Director of Spearhead since the company was established in 2000, and before this he was FD of Greens of Soham Ltd, and Corporate Development Director at G's Marketing Ltd.
These changes represent an important strengthening of our senior executive team to carry out Spearhead's ambitious growth strategy.
We warmly welcome Oskar to our Group, and wish both him and Clive great success in their new roles.

ANNOUNCEMENT TO SHAREHOLDERS

New Investor & Strategic Partner
I am pleased to announce that your Board has today concluded an agreement with a new investor and strategic partner in Spearhead.
Altima Partners LLP (“Altima”) are a London based Global Fund Manager with almost $4bn of client assets under management. Altima manages a range of funds, the key one of which has invested £9.8 million in Spearhead, subscribing for new ordinary 2.5p shares at a share price of £1.029.
I am especially pleased to welcome John Webster, CEO of Altima, to the Spearhead Board with effect from today. We very much look forward to his contribution to the board, and to that of other members of the Altima team to the Spearhead group, as we pursue opportunities for growth and acquisition in our regions.
This substantial transaction foresees considerable growth for Spearhead which we are confident will build earnings, and strengthen our proposition for an IPO to which, with the support of Altima, we have committed ourselves in the next few years.

PRESS ANNOUNCEMENT

Appointment
Spearhead International is pleased to announce that it has appointed Julius Joel as Managing Director of its UK subsidiary, Greens of Soham Ltd. He will take up the position on Monday 18th June 2007. Julius joins Greens from its neighbours, G’s Marketing Ltd, where he has held several positions over the past twelve years, latterly as Supply Chain Director.
This important new appointment signals Spearhead’s commitment to the continued growth and development of Greens within the Group.
Spearhead had total sales of £60m in 2006. Greens contributed £19m towards this, together with £26m sales from Poland, and £15m from the Czech Republic.
